From November 2024, a new accommodation booking module will be piloted and integrated on the Zeeland.com site. This ‘Search & Book’ module replaces the previous module. On this page you will find answers to frequently asked questions by visitors on the site.
General questions
Why is there a new accommodation booking module?
The desired update and the link with Localbooker will more easily meet the requirements of those inspired to visit the Zeeland.com site and who are curious to find and book available accommodation in Zeeland. At the same time, owners will be able to profile their property more prominently and take direct bookings. It forms part of a pilot programme for the period of one year. During this period, a number of experimental features will be included, for example, one which will help contribute to the distribution of vistors in terms of time and place.
The booking agreement is made between the property owner and the consumer. Zeeland.com (and Localbooker) will only manage the link through which the booking can be made.
Nothing will be changed in respect of the Zeeland.com profile. This will remain an inspirational platform for everyone who has an interest in living, working, studying and leisure activities in Zeeland.
What is the difference between the new and the old accommodation module?
The old accommodation module provided visitors with information about the accommodation on offer, without providing details of availability and booking possibility. The new module, Local Booker, allows visitors to search and book on availability. What’s more, you can now search on a much wider range of criteria. Once you have found suitable accommodation, you can book directly with the property owner via the Zeeland.com page. The rental agreement is entered into between the visitor/guest and the owner/property.
How long will the pilot last?
The pilot will be operational for a period of 12 months. After that period, a decision will be taken as to whether the pilot will be extended.
Why is accommodation being displayed in Goeree-Overflakkee?
Although Goeree-Overflakkee is not in Zeeland, accommodation in this region is displayed in the Search & Book module. This is because at the time, Allyourz, the partner behind Localbooker, and Visit Zeeland, included Goeree-Overflakkee in their package. Zeeland.com has inspirational content on Goeree-Overflakkee. During the pilot period of one year, it will be possible to book accommodation in this region via the link with Localbooker.
Using Search & Book
How does Search & Book work?
Using the new accommodation module, you can now make a selection on place/region, dates required, type of stay and company, after which the results of your search will be displayed. There are other filters available to narrow down your search even more. You can click on the individual accommodation to read more specifications and, if you so wish, you can place your booking directly.
The search & book can be used on the Zeeland.com site via the Zeeland booking platform Allyourz. Any questions you have about availability and the booking process can be addressed to them. The rental agreement is entered into between the visitor/guest and the owner/property.

For any questions you may have about availability and the booking process, you can contact the Zeeland booking platform Allyourz. They will be happy to help you. Zeeland.com only facilitates the new module and cannot be contacted for any questions about availability and/or the booking process.
Do I have to create an account to make a booking?
No, you don’t need an account to make a booking.
Can I book by telephone or email if I want, or only via the website?
It’s not possible to contact Zeeland.com by telephone or email, nor to make a booking this way. This can only be done via the booking module on the website.
What types of accommodation can I book?
There are many different types of accommodation on offer in Zeeland. These include hotels, B&Bs, beach huts, apartments, campsites or a bungalow in a holiday park. Check out what’s currently on offer.
What booking conditions apply to the booking I make?
With the accommodation module, you can make the booking directly with the owner. The owner’s own general terms & conditions of booking and/or cancellation apply in respect of the accommodation you are booking. You can find these on the owner’s site.

Payment
What payment methods are available when I book online?
Use is made of the online payment service of Stripe, so that payment is as easy and secure as possible. Several methods of payment are supported:

- Bankcontact (Belgium)
- EPS (Austria)
- Przelewy24 (Poland)
Not all property owners use Stripe. The conditions for advance payments are listed on the page for the relevant accommodation.
